We are liable for your equipment under the German Commercial Code, limited to €620 per cubic metre of loading space (§ 451e HGB). Because fitness equipment has a lot of value in little space, this may be below the replacement value of an expensive treadmill – in that case additional insurance is available on request. Report visible damage no later than the day after delivery, and hidden damage within 14 days (§ 451f HGB).

How are weight plates and weights packed?

Weight plates and loose weights are packed individually in sturdy boxes or crates to prevent them slipping in the vehicle. We always place heavy weights as low and as central as possible in the van to keep it balanced. That way all your equipment stays safe and undamaged when transporting fitness equipment .

Can I transport my home gym myself?

In principle this is possible, but heavy strength machines and bulky cardio machines carry a high risk of injury and damage. We are based in Berlin (Stromstraße 21) and plan heavy fitness equipment like any other bulky piece of furniture: we clarify beforehand whether the machine needs to be dismantled, how wide the doors and stairwell are and how many movers are needed. On moving day we protect floors and edges, carry with straps and load the weight low and in the middle. You receive the fixed price in advance; we are liable for removal goods under the German Commercial Code (§ 451e HGB).
