The last 31 km or so are on the A2 Süd Autobahn along Lake Wörthersee to Klagenfurt. In total it is around 934 km and approx. 14 hrs of lorry time including breaks.
On German motorways, lorries over 3.5 t may drive no faster than 80 km/h (§ 18 (5) StVO), and after four and a half hours of driving time a 45-minute break is required. Because the route is well above the daily driving time, two drivers take turns or we stop overnight on the way and unload the next day in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, including furniture assembly. In Austria, the distance-based toll is due for lorries over 3.5 t, and on the section around the Tauern and Katschberg tunnels a special toll is charged via the GO-Box.
