Celle on the Aller: 275 km the last stretch on the B 214

Removal company Berlin
From the A2 onto the federal road: your move to Celle
A2, then B 214
A move from Berlin to Celle does not end at a motorway exit: from our location at Stromstraße 21 (Moabit) we take the AVUS and the Berlin ring road onto the A2, past Magdeburg and Braunschweig to the Braunschweig-Watenbüttel junction. There the lorry switches to the federal road B 214 and heads north across country – crossing the Hanover–Berlin high-speed railway near Ohof – all the way to the Aller. Around 275 km in total, approx. 3.5 hrs of driving time with the removal lorry. We drive the move from Celle to Berlin back along the same route.
Before we name an amount, we look at your household goods – in your flat or by video call. This produces the fixed price; liability is under § 451e HGB at €620 per cubic metre of cargo space, and for heirlooms we arrange optional additional insurance on request. Between Schuhstraße, Zöllnerstraße and Neue Straße the half-timbered houses stand close together; that is why we clarify the loading zone and parking restriction in Celle as early as in Berlin. Packing, furniture assembly or a storage space are only added if you want them. Appointments: 01625978461.

What matters when moving to Celle
One team from Moabit all the way to the Aller
We come from Berlin (Stromstraße 21) and drive right to your door in Celle. The last stage on the B 214 runs through villages – we factor this into the approx. 3.5 hrs of lorry driving time, which still stays below the 4.5-hour driving time limit. In the old town with more than 400 half-timbered houses the streets are narrow; there we clarify beforehand how close the lorry can get to your house. Whether for family, a change of job or retirement: in the end you get a fixed price after a survey and liability under the German Commercial Code (HGB).

Aller and Spree: answers for both directions
Courts, heath, half-timbering: what draws Berliners to Celle
Celle is regarded as the southern gateway to the Lüneburg Heath and is a district town with around 67,000 inhabitants. Many come for work: the Higher Regional Court of Celle (Oberlandesgericht) and the Regional Social Court of Lower Saxony-Bremen are based here, along with companies in oil and gas technology, the Lower Saxony State Stud and the army airfield in Wietzenbruch. For families, a move from Berlin to Celle often means more living space and an old town that came through the Second World War undamaged. We organise packing, transport and assembly to match.
The move from Celle to Berlin often follows a degree course, a new job or the wish for big-city life. The same process applies to the return: survey in Celle, fixed price, one team all the way to the new door in Berlin.
275 km via the A2 and B 214: route and process
From Moabit to Celle it is around 275 kilometres. The lorry takes the A100 and A115 to the Berlin ring road (A10), joins the A2 at the Werder interchange and follows it past Magdeburg and Braunschweig to the Braunschweig-Watenbüttel junction. There it meets the B 214, which we follow north to Celle. As lorries over 3.5 t may drive at most 80 km/h on the motorway (§ 18 para. 5 StVO) and the federal road passes through villages, we expect approx. 3.5 hrs of driving time. A mandatory break under EU Regulation 561/2006 is only due after 4.5 hours of driving time.
The process has three parts: loading in Berlin with all furniture secured, the drive, and unloading including assembly in Celle. For the move from Celle to Berlin we take the B 214 to Braunschweig-Watenbüttel and then return via the A2.
Arriving in Celle: old town, Aller and the districts
Celle's old town with more than 400 half-timbered houses – above all on Schuhstraße, Zöllnerstraße and Neue Straße – and the Ducal Palace on the Aller form the centre. Around it lie districts such as Neuenhäusen, Blumlage, Hehlentor, Klein Hehlen, Westercelle, Garßen or Altencelle, where Celle's historical origins lie. In the old town the space for a lorry is limited; that is why we almost always apply for a parking restriction zone (Halteverbotszone) there and check the carrying routes in advance.
Anyone planning the return move to Berlin often moves to districts such as Pankow, Charlottenburg or Friedrichshain. Parking space is scarce there too – we apply for the parking restriction zone at the district office.
Guide prices for Celle by flat size
What a move from Berlin to Celle costs depends above all on how many cubic metres travel. The table gives rough reference points, which apply equally to the way back to Berlin:
| Household | Load volume | Guide price |
|---|---|---|
| Apartment (1 room) | 10–15 m³ | from €350 |
| 2 rooms | 20–25 m³ | from €590 |
| 3 rooms | 30–40 m³ | from €890 |
| 4 rooms | 45–60 m³ | from €1,290 |
| Detached house | from 60 m³ | after a survey |
For the 275 km via the A2 and B 214 the guide price is from €1,080, whichever direction you travel. The price only becomes fixed once we have seen your household goods – arrange a free survey for this.
What moves the price up or down on the way to the Aller
The load volume counts most, followed by the 275 km to Celle. Stairs without a lift, long carrying distances in the old town and a parking restriction zone are added, as is furniture assembly. If you only take a little, a part load is cheaper.
