Osnabrück City of Peace: 419 km with a break, finally via the A30

Removal company Berlin
Almost only A2, then A30: your move Berlin ↔ Osnabrück
Arriving on the Hase
A move from Berlin to Osnabrück is a long drive on a single main axis: from Stromstraße 21 in Moabit, after the Berlin Ring the lorry stays on the A2 for most of the route, past Magdeburg, Braunschweig and Hanover to the Bad Oeynhausen interchange in North Rhine-Westphalia. There the A30 takes over, returning to Lower Saxony near Bruchmühlen and leading via Melle to Osnabrück – around 419 km in total. We calculate by cubic metres, floor and access and give you a binding fixed price after the survey. We are liable for your household goods under the German Commercial Code (HGB).
For the return move from Osnabrück to Berlin the same process applies in reverse: survey, fixed price, loading in Osnabrück and unloading in Berlin. For the approx. 6.5 hrs lorry driving time including the mandatory 45-minute break we plan in loading and unloading and decide whether unloading takes place the same evening or the next morning. Since December 2018 the A30 has bypassed Bad Oeynhausen to the north; previously the traffic went through the town. We coordinate the schedule so that your moving day runs without long waiting times.

Hase ↔ Spree: answers for the long route
Why Osnabrück on the Hase – and why back to Berlin
A move from Berlin to Osnabrück is often about work: the city on the Hase lies at the intersection of major transport routes and is therefore a logistics location, plus there is the automotive, metal and paper industry. The university and the university of applied sciences together have around 28,000 students; the university has its seat in Osnabrück Palace. Anyone looking for greenery will find it between the Wiehen Hills and the Teutoburg Forest.
The return move from Osnabrück to Berlin often follows a new job in the capital, starting a career after studies or the larger range of culture. Our team accompanies you in both directions with the same process, a fixed price after a survey and a parking restriction zone from the Berlin district office.
The route: A2 to Bad Oeynhausen, then A30 to Osnabrück
On moving day our team starts loading early in Berlin or Osnabrück, depending on the direction. Then the around 419 kilometres lead via the A100, the AVUS and the Berlin Ring (A10) onto the A2, past Magdeburg, Braunschweig and Hanover to the Bad Oeynhausen interchange. There we change west onto the A30: via Löhne and Bünde, back into Lower Saxony near Bruchmühlen, past Melle to the Osnabrück-South interchange and the junctions Osnabrück-Nahne, -Sutthausen and -Hellern.
By lorry the drive takes approx. 6.5 hrs including the 45-minute break that is required after four and a half hours of driving time (EU Regulation 561/2006). After arrival come unloading and furniture assembly; whether the same evening or the next morning, we decide at the survey.
Arriving in Osnabrück – and the way back to Berlin
With around 166,000 inhabitants Osnabrück is the fourth-largest city in Lower Saxony and is divided into 23 neighbourhoods – from the city centre around the cathedral and palace via the Westerberg to Nahne, Sutthausen and Hellern in the south, which lie directly on the A30. For every address we clarify access, parking restriction and carrying routes in advance so that the lorry does not have to search for long after the long drive.
Anyone deciding on the return move to Berlin swaps the manageable size of Osnabrück for the capital with its districts, its larger job market and its wide range of culture. The Berlin housing market is tight; we set the moving date according to your flat handover.
Guide prices for the 419 km to Osnabrück
For a move from Berlin to Osnabrück, besides the long route it is above all the volume that counts. These figures give an initial idea of scale, and they apply equally to the way back to the Spree:
| Living space | Loading space | Guide price |
|---|---|---|
| one-room flat | 10–15 m³ | from €350 |
| two-room flat | 20–25 m³ | from €590 |
| three-room flat | 30–40 m³ | from €890 |
| four-room flat | 45–60 m³ | from €1,290 |
| house / large flat | from 60 m³ | quote after appointment |
For the 419 km via the A2 and A30 we quote a guide price from €1,740, for both directions. We set the fixed price after recording your household goods during a free survey.
What determines the price on the long way to the Hase
The decisive factor is the volume. On this route the distance weighs more heavily than on short routes (around 419 km, from €4/km). On top of that come floor, lift, a parking restriction zone and extras such as furniture assembly. A small household travels more cheaply as a part load.
