Office moves at a fixed price – how the figure comes about
The price before moving day
A fixed price for an office move is only as accurate as the inventory taken beforehand. At Beste Umzug Unternehmen we therefore look at every area that is moving: workstations, meeting rooms, archive, kitchen, storage and, where applicable, a workshop or cellar compartment. This gives us the volume and staffing requirement. Then there is access at both addresses – floor, lift, walking distance from the lorry and whether a parking restriction zone is needed. Only then do we name a figure you can plan for internally.
You decide with us what goes into the price: transport only, or also packing, dismantling and reassembly of office furniture, dismantling technology, disposal of old furniture or storage. The date is part of it too – whether work takes place at the weekend or in the evening, and whether a surcharge applies, is stated in the quote in advance. We are liable for removal goods under the German Commercial Code up to €620 per cubic metre (§ 451e HGB); additional insurance for expensive equipment is available on request and listed separately.

How we calculate the fixed price
Four components, one figure
We are based in Berlin (Stromstraße 21) and calculate every office move from four components: volume from the survey, access at both addresses, booked services and date. This produces a fixed price that only changes if the basis changes – for example if additional rooms are added. We calculate offices, practices and workshops the same way; only the services differ. For long distances we calculate a long-distance move.

Small office move: a fixed price with a shared load
If only a small office or an external storage unit is moving, a shared load can lower the fixed price: your furniture and boxes travel on a lorry that is heading in that direction anyway. Instead of a fixed day, we agree a time window that should fit into your moving plan.
