Moving from Berlin to Neunkirchen (Saar): 705 km to the Blies

Removal company Berlin
Moving to Neunkirchen (Saar): via the A6/A8 interchange to the Blies
All the way to the county town
For a move from Berlin to Neunkirchen we start at Stromstraße 21 and drive around 705 kilometres to the second-largest town in Saarland. Because there is also a Neunkirchen/Nahe in Saarland, we first clarify the exact address. After that Beste Umzug Unternehmen sets the fixed price after a free survey, in your flat or by video. Our furniture packers pad and strap your household goods so that nothing shifts on the long route through the Palatinate – with one fixed contact person from the enquiry to the reassembly.
A good nine hours of pure driving time: that is more than a driver may drive in one day. For the trip to the Blies or back to Berlin we therefore use two drivers or stay overnight. On request we take care of dismantling furniture, kitchen assembly and single items such as a piano. We are liable for damage under the German Commercial Code (HGB), and optional additional insurance is possible. At the end there is a written fixed price and an arrival time that suits the route.

We are a moving company from Berlin-Moabit and bring your furniture right to your front door in Neunkirchen – to the Oberstadt on the Oberer Markt, to Wiebelskirchen or Furpach. Move
planning Berlin ↔ Neunkirchen
A move between Berlin and Neunkirchen involves more than the transport – from packing and dismantling the furniture to handing over the old flat swept clean. We advise you on parking restriction zones at both addresses, on driver planning for the roughly 705 kilometres and on the moving date; around Rose Monday the town centre is full because of the big parade. We also clarify a part load or interim storage with you. That way you keep track of costs and processes in both directions.

The Blies valley and Berlin: answered briefly
From Berlin to the old ironworks town on the Blies – and back
With just under 47,000 inhabitants, Neunkirchen is the second-largest town in Saarland after Saarbrücken and the county town of the district of the same name. The town was shaped by the ironworks founded in the Blies valley in 1593, run by the Stumm family from 1806; today the Altes Hüttenareal (old ironworks site) recalls it. Anyone moving here from Berlin often comes for a job in the region, for family or for the short distances to Saarbrücken. We take care of all the logistics so that your fresh start in Saarland begins in an orderly way.
The return move from Neunkirchen to Berlin often follows a new job in the capital or family reasons. The wide cultural offering also draws many back to Berlin. Our team plans this return move with the same survey, the same fixed-price model and the same driver planning as the outbound trip.
The route: 705 km to the Neunkirchen interchange and the A8
Around 705 kilometres lie between Moabit and Neunkirchen. From the Berlin ring road the lorry heads south on the A9 to the Hermsdorf interchange, west on the A4 through Thuringia and on the A5 towards Frankfurt. Beyond Mainz the A63 follows the course of the old Kaiserstraße from Paris to Mainz through the Palatinate to the Kaiserslautern interchange. The A6 leads past Homburg to the Neunkirchen interchange, which lies within the municipality of Kirkel; on the A8 it is then only a few kilometres into the town.
Lorries over 3.5 t drive at no more than 80 km/h, which adds up to a good nine hours of pure driving time – more than EU Regulation 561/2006 allows one driver per day. We calculate approx. 11 hrs including breaks and decide at the survey between two drivers and an overnight stop. We load in Berlin in the morning, unload at the destination and reassemble on request. The same planning applies on the way back to Berlin.
Town centre, Oberstadt, districts: arriving in Neunkirchen
The town centre stretches from the Blies, where there is a shopping centre, up the hills south of the river; the old centre, the Oberstadt, lies around the Oberer Markt. With an 11 per cent gradient, Hüttenbergstraße was once the steepest tram line in Germany – which is why we check gradients and parking spaces at the survey. Neunkirchen also includes districts such as Wiebelskirchen, the largest, as well as Furpach right by the A8, Kohlhof, Hangard and Wellesweiler.
In the middle of the town, the Saarpark-Center has stood on the former ironworks site since 1989; to the east lies the zoo, opened in 1926. There has long been a link to Brandenburg: Neunkirchen is twinned with Lübben in the Spreewald. If you later move back to Berlin, we apply for the parking restriction outside the new address at the district office.
What the move to the Blies costs
How expensive the move from Berlin to Neunkirchen – or the trip from Neunkirchen to Berlin – will be depends above all on how much comes along. As a rough guide:
| Number of rooms | Moving volume | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| One room | 10–15 m³ | from €350 |
| Two rooms | 20–25 m³ | from €590 |
| Three rooms | 30–40 m³ | from €890 |
| Four rooms | 45–60 m³ | from €1,290 |
| House with garden | from 60 m³ | Price after a survey |
For the roughly 705 km via the A9, A4, A5, A63, A6 and A8 a guide price from €2,680 applies there and back. Your binding quote follows after a free survey.
What the price for Neunkirchen depends on
The decisive factor is the volume: it determines which lorry and how many furniture packers come. On the long-distance move Berlin–Neunkirchen the roughly 705 km and the planning with two drivers or two days also play a part. On top of that come floors, lift, carrying distances on steep streets and extras such as furniture assembly or a parking restriction zone. For a small amount of goods a part load is cheaper.
