An express move is the solution when things have to happen quickly – for example with a sudden change of job, a separation or a flat that becomes free sooner than expected. At Beste Umzug Unternehmen, after your enquiry we check which date is feasible with our staff and vehicles – often within a few days, depending on how busy we are. The shorter the lead time, the more has to be organised in parallel. Every step and every item is agreed with you in advance.
Despite the tight schedule, we make sure of careful packing and secured furniture transport. For express moves we deploy additional staff and several vehicles if needed – this is the main reason why they cost more than a move planned well in advance. Whether a private move or a commercial move: if you pack or sort things out yourself, you can reduce the surcharge.

We are liable for damage under the German Commercial Code (HGB) (§ 451e: €620 per m³), and additional insurance is available on request. We are based in Berlin (Stromstraße 21) and also drive nationwide at short notice, provided staff and vehicles are available.

We also plan long-distance moves over long routes at short notice, provided staff and vehicles are available; then driving and rest times also determine the schedule. From a small student move to a complete flat, we check when you enquire what is feasible in the time remaining. We are based in Berlin and drive from here to all destinations.

How an express move works
After your enquiry by phone or online form, we clarify the size of the flat, the route and your preferred date and check whether staff and vehicles are available. You then receive a binding fixed-price quote – after a survey or based on the details you give us by phone – and a specific proposed date.
On moving day our team takes care of packing, dismantling, transport and reassembly in the new flat on request. By having several helpers work at the same time, we shorten the overall duration; you will find your checklist for the last few days in the article Express move checklist.
The costs of an express move at a glance
Because of the short-notice planning and the greater number of staff, the costs of an express move are usually higher than those of a regular move. Exactly what the fixed price covers – transport, packing, assembly – is listed item by item in the quote; liability is under the HGB.
Prices vary depending on the size of the flat, the distance and the additional services you want – a small move within the city is cheaper than an extensive long-distance move. Call us to receive an individual quote with all items.

The deciding factors are the moving volume, the kilometres driven (from €3.95/km), the floor and lift and a possible parking restriction zone (Halteverbotszone). Additional services such as furniture assembly and a part load can be added flexibly.
