In a business relocation, furniture rarely goes missing – information does: deliveries end up at the old address, the business has not been re-registered, invoices still show the wrong address. That way the move of your office, workshop or warehouse runs in an orderly fashion, and your day-to-day business has to pause as little as possible.
For the transport itself, we work with a relocation plan tailored to commercial moves: we dismantle and reassemble furniture and shelving, secure equipment and label every box by room and department. Stock should be counted beforehand and machinery disconnected by specialists. On request, we also take care of storing archive material or furniture not needed straight away for your business relocation.

If only one department, an archive or part of the warehouse is moving, a shared load can be cheaper than a dedicated lorry. Your belongings travel on a tour that is heading in your direction anyway; instead of a fixed day, we agree a time window. It is usually not suitable for moving the whole business by a set date.

It includes mail forwarding for business post, new addresses with authorities, the bank and insurers, moving telephone and internet, which often has a long lead time, and informing employees and customers. Company move checklist: the optimal process
A successful business relocation ideally begins 8-12 weeks before the actual moving date with a detailed inventory. Draw up a complete inventory list, inform employees, customers and business partners early and clarify the notice period for the old premises. At the same time you should draw up a relocation plan with clear responsibilities and hire an experienced moving partner. In the busy phase, around two to four weeks before the date, boxes are packed systematically, IT systems are prepared and contracts for electricity, internet and telephone at the new site are concluded. On moving day itself, our professionals handle the complete transport while you take care of setting up the workstations. Then come the changes of address: re-register the business (§ 14 GewO), for registered companies notify the commercial register of the new business address via a notary (§ 31 HGB), and update the legal notice and invoice templates. Finally, you hand back the old premises.
Mastering typical situations in the office move
Many companies face similar challenges: tight time windows outside business hours, sensitive customer data or delicate technical equipment such as servers and printers. Coordinating several departments with different requirements also calls for precise logistics planning. Workshops and warehouses bring their own issues: heavy machinery, high-voltage connections, shelving systems and stock that should be counted before the move.
Data protection is a central issue, especially when moving medical practices or law firms, and we address it with lockable transport containers. For server moves we work closely with your IT department to keep downtime to a minimum. Short-notice business relocations after a lease has been terminated are also possible; in Berlin, however, a parking restriction zone needs around four weeks' lead time.
What do you pay for your move?
The answer is simple: it depends on the size of your flat. 1-room flats cost from €354, 2-room flats from €605, 3-room flats from €899 and 4-room flats from €1,329. For houses and villas we prepare an individual quote, as every move is unique here. We charge additional kilometres on long-distance moves from €3.90/km. It is best to arrange a free survey straight away.
How is the moving price calculated?
The basis is always the volume of your belongings. Added to this are the distance (from €3.90/km), the floor and whether a lift is available. For a smooth process on narrow streets, we recommend a parking restriction zone. We are happy to combine this with furniture assembly or a shared load.
