A Clearance with Professionals: The Advantages

Moving company Berlin
Clearance with professionals or on your own?
An honest comparison
You can do a clearance yourself: in Berlin, the BSR recycling centres accept up to 3 m³ of bulky waste per delivery, as well as electrical appliances from private households, free of charge if you or private helpers deliver them. For that, though, you need a van, several people to carry and often several trips. Paint and chemicals also have to go to a hazardous waste collection point (Schadstoffannahmestelle). For a cellar or a few pieces of furniture this works well – for a whole flat it quickly becomes a project spanning several weekends.
With a professional team, the effort for you is a single appointment: we sort, carry, dismantle furniture and take care of disposal; on request, we hand over the rooms broom-clean. We look through valuable items and offset them if they can be sold. You know the price in advance as a fixed price after a survey. If you are moving anyway, you can combine this with a private move.

Is a professional worth it? We do the maths
Free survey, binding fixed price
Call us on 01625978461 or write to us. After a free survey, you receive a binding fixed price for your clearance – then you can compare at your leisure whether doing it yourself with a van and helpers is worth it. If a move to another city follows, you can find out more under long-distance moves.
Quotes available individually based on workload, scheduling and the desired scope of services.

What a professional team handles for you
Time, effort and trips
The biggest advantage is time: instead of several trips to the recycling centre, a team often completes the clearance in one appointment. On top of that comes carrying from upper floors without a lift, dismantling large furniture and separating bulky waste, wood, metal, electrical appliances and hazardous substances. We also see what can still be sold or donated. We are based in Berlin (Stromstraße 21); places with their own pages can be found under locations.

How we work at your home
Before we start the clearance, we go through with you which items are to stay. That way no keepsakes end up in the skip by mistake – a risk that is often underestimated when doing it yourself under time pressure.

Only a few pieces of furniture to take along?
If only a few pieces of furniture remain after the clearance that need to go to a new place, a shared load is often cheaper than a van of your own: the items travel on a lorry that is heading in that direction anyway. We tell you in advance whether there is a suitable trip.

Your
move, our craft
A clearance is often the first step before a move or a renovation. Typical occasions are household clearances after a death, a change of tenant or decluttering before a private move. We also clear cellars, lofts and garages where junk has collected over the years. If you would rather take small quantities away yourself, you will find the options in the guide disposing of bulky waste properly.

Professional or DIY? Common questions
Process of a professional clearance
First we carry out a free on-site viewing, in order to realistically assess the scope and effort. On this basis, you receive a transparent fixed price without hidden additional costs. On the agreed date, our team sorts items into keep, donate, recycle and bulky waste. Afterwards the professional removal and the swept-clean handover of the rooms take place.
For larger properties such as houses or companies, we additionally plan in containers and staff according to the room size. On request we also take over the final cleaning, so you do not have to see to anything further. That way a stressful task becomes a smooth, plannable process.
Costs and tips for your clearance
The cost of a clearance depends on the area, the condition of the rooms and the amount of material. With a fixed price after a survey, however, we calculate transparently, so there are no nasty surprises. A useful tip: sort roughly into "keep" and "dispose of" beforehand, which speeds up the process even more.
Items of value such as furniture in good condition can often be sold or donated, which lowers the total cost. Choose the date wisely too, for example directly before a move. This saves you double work and time.
Fixed prices for your move – clearly calculated
With us, you always know where you stand. 1-room flats from €375, 2-room flats from €615, 3-room flats from €884 and 4-room flats from €1,299 – that is how simple our price structure is. We calculate larger properties such as houses and villas individually. If you are moving further away, you pay from €4.15 per kilometre for long-distance moves. Arrange your free survey now for a tailor-made quote.
The price of your move – this is how it is calculated
The calculation is always based on the volume of the goods to be transported and the distance driven (from €4.15/km). Added to this are the floor, whether there is a lift and a possible parking restriction zone. Extras such as furniture assembly or a shared load are also reflected in the price.
