Practice relocation
Practice move at a fixed price: what it includes and what specialist firms charge
Costs in view
A fixed price for a practice move means the moving company states a fixed amount in advance for a precisely described service. For it to hold, the service description must be right – which is why it is set after a survey that records furniture, filing cabinets, boxes, floor, lift and access. The price typically covers dismantling, transport and reassembly of the furnishings, the parking restriction zone (Halteverbotszone) and, if required, packing materials and disposal. The price may only change if you add services afterwards.
The moving company's fixed price does not include the work of other specialists: equipment manufacturers or medical technology firms for dismantling and commissioning, your IT provider and – if you take X-rays – the expert whose inspection report must be available before notification at the new site. Budget for these invoices separately. How we move businesses is described under office move. Ask explicitly in the quote which services are included, so that you have a complete overview of the total cost of the move.

Fixed price after a survey
Every item listed separately
Call us on 01625978461. We survey the practice and then give you a fixed price in which dismantling, transport, reassembly and the parking restriction zone are listed separately – in writing. The survey is free and non-binding; afterwards you can compare at your leisure.
Quotes available individually based on workload, scheduling and the desired scope of services.

What the fixed price covers
And what is invoiced separately
We are based in Berlin (Stromstraße 21) and give the fixed price for your practice move after a survey. It covers dismantling and reassembling the practice furniture, transporting files and boxes, the parking restriction zone and, on request, materials and disposal. Equipment manufacturers, IT providers and experts invoice separately. We are liable for your goods under § 451e HGB at €620 per cubic metre; additional insurance for expensive equipment costs extra.
Furniture in the price

Six items that determine the price
A fixed price for a practice move is made up of just a few factors. If you know them, you can compare quotes and save in a targeted way. We record these six points during the survey and include them in the price.
Volume
Floor and lift
Access and parking restriction
Dismantling and assembly
Stages and date
Distance
Small move, small price

This guide shows how the fixed price for a practice move is set and what it includes. What else you should bear in mind is covered in the article Practice move: what to look out for. For a home move at the same time there is the private move, and for destinations in other cities our long-distance moves. And if you want to know which mistakes cost practices the most time and money when moving, you will find them collected in the article on typical pitfalls in a practice move.

Questions about the fixed price for a practice move
How the fixed price for the practice is set
It starts with a survey of the old and, if possible, the new premises. We record the furniture, filing cabinets, boxes and equipment to be transported and clarify the floor, lift, access and whether a parking restriction zone is needed. From this we calculate volume, staff and time.
You then receive a written quote with a fixed price in which every item is listed separately. On moving day we dismantle, transport and reassemble according to the room plan. The invoice matches the fixed price as long as you do not add any services afterwards.
Costs and limits of a fixed price
A fixed price gives you planning certainty, but only covers the service described. If additional furniture, a furniture lift or another stage is added on moving day, this is agreed with you beforehand.
The moving company's fixed price does not include the work of the equipment manufacturer, IT provider and expert. The costs of a business-related move are generally business expenses; your tax adviser will clarify the details. Ask in the quote what happens in the event of waiting time, for example if a manufacturer is late, and have the answer recorded in writing.
What your move costs
Whether a one-room flat (from €369), two-room flat (from €599), three-room flat (from €879) or four-room flat (from €1,324) – we have the right price for every size of home. For houses and villas we prepare an individual quote, and for long-distance moves we charge €3.80/km. Request your free survey now.
This determines your moving price
The key factors are first of all volume and distance – we charge the latter from €3.80/km. The floor of your home and whether there is a lift are also factored into the calculation. Sometimes a parking restriction zone is needed as well. On request we also take care of furniture assembly and a shared load.
