Partial moving services: which tasks working people can hand over

Guide for working people · Part 5
Not all or nothing: handing over parts of the move selectively
Building blocks instead of a full package
If you work full time, you do not have to choose between "do everything yourself" and "hand everything over". An honest list makes more sense: which tasks cost you the most evenings? Usually it is the kitchen, dismantling large wardrobes and the trip to the authorities for the parking restriction. You can book exactly these parts individually, while you pack books, clothes and personal items into boxes yourself. That way the stress of moving stays manageable.
A moving company then only takes on what really relieves you – and you only pay for that. Using our private move services, you put together the scope; we give you the fixed price after the survey for exactly these services. If something changes, we adjust the date by arrangement. Your belongings are covered under the German Commercial Code (HGB).

Only book what saves you time – at a fixed price
Fixed price after a survey for your selection
Tell us what you will do yourself and what we should do – for example packing the kitchen, dismantling wardrobes or applying for the parking restriction. After the survey you receive a fixed price for exactly this selection. Simply call 01625978461 and receive a no-obligation fixed-price quote.
Offers available individually, depending on effort, scheduling and the scope of services required.

How we plan partial services for working people
Bookable individually, clearly defined
During the survey we go through room by room and decide who takes on what. Every booked service is listed separately in the quote – packing the kitchen, dismantling the wardrobe, no-parking zone, transport. That way there are no misunderstandings on moving day, and the fixed price stays easy to follow. We are based in Berlin (Stromstraße 21) and operate nationwide; destinations with their own page can be found under locations.

Six tasks that are easy to hand over
Which partial services are worthwhile depends on what costs you the most time. Experience shows that working people most like to hand over these six tasks – many pack the rest into boxes themselves.
Kitchen and glass
Large furniture
Parking zone
Lamps and technology
Cellar and loft
Keep it yourself
Part load: the smallest partial service
If only a few pieces of furniture are moving – for example to a second home near your new workplace – a part load is often enough: your belongings travel along with other orders. Pack yourself and only book the transport; you can add dismantling and assembly if needed.

Which
partial service suits which move
The fifth part of our series is about partial services: instead of doing everything yourself or handing everything over, working people book precisely the tasks that cost the most evenings – packing the kitchen, dismantling and reassembling furniture, the parking restriction, house clearance. For a long-distance move because of a new job, transport alone or a part load is often an option. That way scope and price match your time budget.

Frequently asked questions on partial services for working people
A time audit: what costs you how many evenings?
Before you book partial services, an honest estimate is worthwhile: how many evenings do you need for the kitchen, wardrobe, books, cellar and dismantling the furniture? Do preparations such as labelling boxes or sorting things out weeks ahead in small stages – and mark the tasks you will not manage.
These marked tasks are your partial services. If moving day falls on a Friday bridge day or a Saturday, and our team takes care of transport and assembly, you are ready for work again on the next working day – without emptying your leave allowance.
Combining partial services: kitchen, furniture, parking zone
Not every move needs the full package. Many working people book partial services selectively: packing the kitchen, dismantling the large wardrobes and the no-parking zone – they pack clothes and books themselves. How the application for the zone works is explained in the article Applying for a no-parking zone.
What matters is a clear definition in the quote: what is booked, what do you do? Then the move stays plannable and under control, and the fixed price after the survey applies to exactly this scope.
Moving costs – the key facts
So that you can plan your move as well as possible, here are the key figures: for a 1-room flat prices start at €354, for 2 rooms at €599. A 3-room flat costs from €899, a 4-room flat from €1,309. For larger properties such as a house or villa we prepare a tailor-made, individual quote. For long-distance moves a price per kilometre from €3.80 applies. Take advantage of our free survey to receive a binding price.
Which building blocks change the price
Besides the pure volume of your household goods, the distance between the old and new home plays a major role – we calculate from €3.80/km. A floor without a lift also increases the effort. For a smooth process we also recommend a no-parking zone (Halteverbotszone). Services such as furniture assembly or a part load round off the offer.
