When scheduling a shared load, we first take your preferred dates into account and match them against existing tours. Since the van usually calls at several stops, your exact delivery date can move within a defined time window of a few days. The more flexible you are, the easier it is to fit your shared load into an existing route and the cheaper the transport becomes.
Within this time window, we get in touch in good time with the exact delivery day and agree the time with you. Plan the end of your tenancy so that the old flat is available until collection, and have someone ready for delivery who can open the new flat. Using time windows cleverly: tips for your shared load
A generous time window of several days greatly increases your chances of an affordable shared load, as our dispatchers have more leeway in route planning. So ideally, do not plan your move at the last minute but with enough lead time for us to find the right tour for you.
For particularly urgent moves, on the other hand, we recommend a standard private move, where the vehicle travels only for you and the delivery date is fixed. This way you can choose between an affordable time window and a fixed date depending on time pressure and budget.
