If furniture gets broken, we are liable under the statutory rules of the German Commercial Code (HGB). That way you have already handed over the most demanding part of your express move.

Shared load: relaxed, but not fast
With a shared load, a small amount of furniture travels on a tour that is already planned – inexpensive, but with a time window instead of a fixed date. If you are already under time pressure, a dedicated vehicle is the calmer option; if you have a few days of leeway, you can save.

Who does what? Dividing the tasks
Write three lists: what the moving team takes on, what you do yourself and what can wait until after moving in. The team's list includes carrying, transport and, if you wish, dismantling, assembly and packing. What stays with you are the key handover, contracts and authorities – such as registration, which is due within two weeks of moving in (§ 17 BMG). Clarify early whether a parking restriction in front of the building is still possible: in Berlin the signs must be in place at least three full days (72 hours) beforehand, and the authority usually needs longer to issue the order. If there is not enough time, we plan with a longer carrying distance – you then know this beforehand and not only on the morning.
Packing and moving day without chaos
Pack room by room and label every box with the destination room. Right at the end comes a first-night box: bed linen, towels, charging cables, medication, tools, toilet paper and something to eat. Transport documents and valuables yourself.
On moving day, children and pets are often better off with friends or relatives. Photograph the meter readings in both flats and hand over the old flat with a handover report. We are liable for your belongings under the rules of the German Commercial Code (HGB); we record visible damage immediately when unloading.
What does a move cost? All prices in detail
Before you plan your move, you should know the approximate costs. Our guide values: 1-room flat from €344, 2-room flat from €609, 3-room flat from €884 and 4-room flat from €1,299. Larger properties such as a house or villa are calculated individually. For a long-distance move we charge from €4.10/km. For an exact quote, we recommend a free survey on site.
How your moving price is composed
Besides the volume of the furniture to be transported, the distance plays a major role – here we calculate from €4.10/km. The floor, lift and a possible parking restriction zone are also included in the calculation. Extra services such as furniture assembly or a shared load can be added optionally.
