House clearance
House clearance: price by items, access and disposal
Estimating costs
A house clearance is often the first step before a move, dissolving a household or renovating a property. At “Beste Umzug Unternehmen” you receive a fixed price after the survey that is set before work begins and does not depend on the hours actually needed. Our team takes care of sorting, carrying, disposing of and recycling your items. That way you know in advance what the clearance will cost.
Whether a small flat, an entire house or commercial premises – we calculate the costs individually according to the amount, access and condition of the items. We are liable for damage to the building or to items that are to remain; the liability conditions are stated in the quote. Many customers combine the clearance directly with a private move to bundle effort and costs. Talk to us and we will prepare a no-obligation quote for you.

What you can expect from our house clearance
A clear price, separated disposal
“Beste Umzug Unternehmen” relies on a transparent fixed price after a survey for every house clearance. We separate bulky waste, electrical appliances and recyclables and take them to the relevant waste disposal and recycling centres; we discuss hazardous waste such as paint or chemicals with you beforehand. The quote shows you what is included. We are based in Berlin (Stromstraße 21) and carry out clearances in the city and, combined with a move, elsewhere too.

What determines the price of a house clearance
The price of a house clearance depends less on the floor area than on how many items are actually in it. We look at these points during the survey – and you can influence quite a lot yourself in advance.

When
a house clearance is worth it
A house clearance rarely stands alone: it prepares the move, is part of dissolving a household or of handing over the old flat. Whether a conventional private move or a long-distance move over greater distances – if you clear out beforehand, you transport less. That is why we plan clearance and transport together. This saves coordination and usually money too.

Frequently asked questions about the cost of a house clearance
How a professional house clearance works
A house clearance usually begins with a free on-site survey, during which the scope and condition of the items to be cleared are assessed. On this basis we prepare a transparent fixed-price quote that lists the costs for staff, transport and disposal individually.
On the agreed date our team sorts the items into categories: reusable, suitable for donation and for disposal. They are then properly removed so that the premises can be handed over swept clean – ideal before a move or a new tenancy.
The costs of a house clearance at a glance
The costs of a house clearance depend on several factors: the amount of items, accessibility, the type of waste and whether items can be reused. Because two flats of the same size can be filled to very different degrees, we do not quote a flat-rate price but look at the rooms beforehand.
With our fixed-price model you know from the start what total to expect – regardless of the actual time spent on site. The article House clearance: costs and crediting of value explains how reusable items lower the price.
Starting prices if a move follows the clearance
| Number of rooms | Starting price |

| 1 room | €354 |
| 2 rooms | €584 |
| 3 rooms | €899 |
| 4 rooms | €1,279 |

| Long-distance move | from €4.10/km |

What makes the move after the clearance more expensive
The price of your move depends on several factors: the moving volume, the distance (from €4.10/km), the floor and whether there is a lift. A required parking restriction zone (Halteverbotszone) can also affect the price. Additional services such as furniture assembly or a part load also affect the total cost.
