What is a shared load when moving?
With a shared load, your belongings are transported together with other customers' belongings on a vehicle that is travelling the same route anyway. This means several customers share the transport costs, which makes sense for smaller moving volumes in particular. This method is ideal for students, single households or when only single pieces of furniture need to be transported.
Unlike a classic move with an exclusive vehicle, the delivery time for a shared load can vary somewhat, as the van makes deliveries to other customers along the way. In return you benefit from a considerably reduced price with the same quality and liability for your belongings under the HGB.
How scheduling works for a shared load
After your enquiry we check whether a suitable trip for the shared load is possible for your destination region and agree suitable collection and delivery dates with you. As several customers have to be coordinated, we ask for some flexibility when choosing the date, so that we can get the best price for you. For shared loads throughout Germany, we keep an eye on every stop of the trip.
As soon as the date is fixed, we inform you in good time of the exact collection and delivery times.
