What exactly is a shared load?
A shared load is the transport of belongings that are loaded into one vehicle together with other consignments. Because the cargo space is used to the full, the cost per customer drops considerably, which is particularly attractive for students with a limited moving volume.
Unlike a classic move, where a vehicle is reserved exclusively for one customer, with a shared load several people share the transport capacity. This keeps the fixed price low without you having to give up quality or insurance cover.
How a shared load for students works
After your enquiry we work out the volume of your belongings and plan the right route with other shared loads. We let you know the planned collection and delivery dates in good time, so that you can organise your moving day as well as possible.
On moving day our professionals pack and load your furniture safely and professionally. We are liable for damage under the HGB, even if your student move covers a long distance. After moving in, you have two weeks to register at your new address (§ 17 BMG) – in a room in a shared flat, too.

Your moving price is made up of several components: the amount of belongings, the kilometres driven (from €3.85/km), the floor and whether a lift can be used. A parking restriction zone may also be needed. We are happy to add furniture assembly or a shared load to your move.
