Moving in Pforzheim: free registration from the Weststadt to Büchenbronn and Huchenfeld

Pforzheim includes five localities with their own local administration: Büchenbronn, Eutingen, Hohenwart, Huchenfeld and Würm. For your move, it is worth looking at the city's information.

• Büchenbronn: lies south of the core city on a northern foothill of the Black Forest between the Enz and Nagold, at an altitude of about 500 metres. Around 6,200 people live there. The village was independent until 1973 and has been part of Pforzheim since 1974. Bus lines 43, 743 and 744 connect it with the city. The town hall is at Pforzheimer Str. 1.
• Huchenfeld: lies on a plateau between the Nagold and Würm in the middle of the forest. 622 of 947 hectares are forest. In 2021 the city counted 4,662 inhabitants. The altitude varies between 260.7 and 490.2 metres. Bus lines 4, 42, 741 and 742 run to Pforzheim.

After moving in, you must register within two weeks; according to the city, registration is free of charge.
