Packing and furniture assembly from a single provider
Many older people shy away from packing heavy boxes or fragile keepsakes. Our packing service takes over this work completely – from sturdy boxes to careful padding of fragile items. That leaves more time for the important things while we take care of every detail.
After transport we reassemble beds, wardrobes and shelves in the new home, so seniors feel comfortable from day one.
Disposal and household clearance made easy
During a senior move, furniture and household goods that will no longer fit in the new home often have to be sorted out. With our professional clearance service we handle the proper disposal of surplus furniture, electrical appliances and personal items – discreetly and reliably. On request we coordinate the clearance and the move on a single date.
How much does a senior move cost – and what does the care insurance fund pay?
Within Berlin our fixed prices start at €350, €590, €890 or €1,290 depending on the size of the flat, and long-distance moves from €4 per kilometre. If a care level (Pflegegrad) has been assessed, the long-term care insurance fund (Pflegekasse) can contribute up to €4,180 per measure under § 40 Abs. 4 SGB XI if the move makes home care possible or considerably easier – ideally, submit the application before the move.
